Greetings to our valued chamber members.
September has been an incredibly exciting month for us here at the Kent County Chamber. So exciting, in fact, I’m sending you the September update on the first day of October. Yes, yes, I’m late—but can you really blame me? September seemed to come and go in the blink of an eye… Actually, make that 2021 going by in the blink of an eye. A meme that I saw on social media recently stood out so much, I saved it to my desktop and am sharing it. If you’re a Marvel fan, you’ll instantly relate.
Anyway, enough with the casualness. I have major announcements to share with you:
BrewFest is BACK!
I’m thrilled to announce BrewFest is back on the calendar this year and will be taking place on Saturday, November 6 from 12 pm - 4 pm in Chestertown. The event will feature craft beer and cider from more than 12 breweries and cideries from the DelMarVa region and beyond. Live music, a food truck, and outdoor games will round out this action-packed event. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.kentbrewfest.org.
Kent Chamber Welcomes New Sponsors, Increased Sponsorship
The Kent Chamber is incredibly grateful for the increase in corporate sponsorship we’ve realized from several members. Advisors Financial Inc is our newest Gold Sponsor and a new member to the Kent Chamber. DMS and Associates is the Chamber’s newest Silver Sponsor. ChesaDel Crier and KVN Partners (current sponsors) both increased their sponsorship tiers—ChesaDel Crier increased from Bronze to Silver and KVN Partners increased from Bronze to Gold. View and download our comprehensive sponsorship guide here.
In addition, our BrewFest event is attracting major support from our members. Eastern Shore Tents and Events is the event’s proud Lead Sponsor. KVN Partners sponsored the Live Music and Chesapeake Bank and Talkie Communications have signed on as supporting sponsors. Learn more about BrewFest sponsorship opportunities here.
Much of what the chamber does cannot be done without the support of both corporate and event sponsors. We truly appreciate their support. Thank you.
2021 - 2022 Directory Publication Underway
We dramatically improved the design of our annual membership directory and resource guide and the publication was so well received, we SOLD OUT our guides in less than 9 months!
We have begun the process of publishing next year’s directory and this year’s publication brings exciting changes. We want to share the unique stories of our members’ successes and invite our members to submit their stories to share. Contact me for more information.
Whereas there is a lot in store for the remainder of the year, you can still count on the Kent Chamber to continue working diligently to ensure every member takes pride in their membership.
In Service,
Sam Shoge, Executive Director
