Description: Increasingly, the buzzwords of Diversity and Inclusion pop up, but what exactly do these concepts mean? How does my company know if it's doing the right thing? How can I access the positive ROI that comes from comprehensive recruitment and retention policies?

Accessible workplace policies are good for business. Companies that excel at disability employment and inclusion are four times more likely to deliver higher shareholder returns than their competitors, according to a study by Accenture released in Oct. 2019. As businesses rethink the working environment because of COVID-19, companies have an opportunity to re-invent their teams and overhaul how work gets done.

Where do you start when considering these new workforce opportunities? Join the Kent Chamber of Commerce and the Director of Engagement for The Arc Central Chesapeake Region, Deena Kilmon, for a timely talk on why inclusion and accessibility is today's smart move for the best business strategy. There will be ample time for Q&A at the end of the short presentation.
